EoZen brings mobile CRM solution to Becton Dickinson
Becton Dickinson is a global medical technology company that develops, manufactures and sells medical devices, instrument systems and reagents, focused on improving drug delivery, enhancing the quality and speed of diagnosing infectious diseases and cancers, and advancing research, discovery and production of new drugs and vaccines.
BD was looking to equip their sales force with a mobile CRM solution to manage accounts, contacts, leads and opportunities. The speed of implementation was crucial, as a first version of the solution was needed only 3 months after the start of the project.
EoZen was the only provider capable of bringing a combination of deep SAP CRM skills with best-in-class Adobe LCDS/AIR/FLEX capabilities.

During the project, the team has leveraged Adobe LCDS skills from EoZen and the UI design capabilities from the SQLI agency.
The project started with a functional analysis of the needs of the customers, including UI wireframes and UI designs. The initial implementation phase of a mobile CRM solution based on Adobe LCDS (Adobe LiveCycle Data Services ), Adobe AIR/FLEX, with an SAP CRM backend was a success and when it went live the first version was used by approximately 20 users. The second and third implementation phases extended the solution scope in Europe, and as of now the number of users is around 150.
Phase 4 has been confirmed on February 29th, 2012 and the number of users will gradually increase up to 600.
